Colcot Primary School Barry

This piece was made by the year 5 and 6 of Colcot Primary School in Barry.

The brief was the history of Barry. During the design stage it became apparent that the beach and travel were the key issues in the children's eyes. Different modes of travel to the beach from train, charabancs to paddle steamer, adn the beach itself with its colourful huts and donkeys.

A mixture of mirror, cut and broken tile and melted marbles were used on this piece.
